The name Samba Swim is a tribute to our Brazilian roots. Where beach culture is more than a lifestyle; it’s an expression of freedom, sensuality, and strength. The word Samba carries movement, music, and soul. It reflects how we want you to feel in our swimwear: alive, empowered, and unapologetically confident.
"I started Samba Swim in 2020, during a time when everything felt uncertain. I had just finished college, the world was shut down, and for the first time, I had space to think about what I really wanted to do. I’ve always loved swimwear and the way a great bikini can instantly change how you feel. That pause gave me the push to finally go for it.
The name came from a kitchen table brainstorm with my mom. “Samba” just fit. It nods to my Brazilian background and the confidence I’ve always admired in that culture - especially at the beach. I didn’t have a background in fashion or business when I started, just a vision for what I wanted: high-quality, well-designed swimwear that feels amazing to wear and actually fits.
Samba Swim has grown a lot since those early, messy days, but the core of it hasn’t changed. I still choose every fabric, obsess over every fit, and build each collection from the ground up.
